Big Busy Week.

This past week was the biggest week of training I have had since my surgery...12.5 hours of training! I was doing all sorts of training such as AlterG running, double poling on the treadmill, biking outdoors and indoors, ski erging, strength and core training, swimming, and pool running. I had one crazy busy week!I got a bit more outdoors this week and also made new friend! My friend is a french alpine who rollerskis for his cardio training...you don't see that very often! I helped him out with his rollerski intervals at Solider Hollow on Tuesday to show him where the trails go and to give him some technique pointers. He returned the favor when he came along on my first bike ride outside on Wednesday!IMG_4303 (2)Screen Shot 2015-08-03 at 8.40.02 PMI am lucky enough to have Jason Cork around to help me run the rollerski treadmill and give me technique advice. He is also quite the pro at getting the video technique shots!DCIM103GOPROOn Friday we biked into town for the famous Park City Art Festival on Main Street. All of the art was incredible; my favorites were the photography, woven glass, and the glass art. I didn't really get any pictures since your are not supposed to take pictures of many of the pieces of art.IMG_4315 (1)My weekend was most exciting of all! On Saturday, which is my off day, I headed over to the UOP (Utah Olympic Park) with Lindsey to watch Nordic Combined Nationals. It was exciting to see my friends jump in the competition. After, I did the Zip Line and the Alpine Slide at the UOP!Screen Shot 2015-08-03 at 9.02.24 PMScreen Shot 2015-08-03 at 9.03.02 PMScreen Shot 2015-08-03 at 9.07.46 PMIt was Noah Hoffman's birthday on Saturday so we all headed over to Canyons to see 10,000 Maniacs!IMG_4323IMG_4319 (3)IMG_4321 (5)After a long stressful day, I was excited for tonight where we celebrated Noah's birthday since the concert happened on his birthday.
